But they are visibly not born equal. <a href=\"http:\/\/cameradojo.com\/2008\/12\/12\/comparison-of-hdr-techniques\/\">Camera Dojo<\/a> compared several of them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/adobe.com\/photoshop\">Photoshop CS4<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hdrsoft.com\/\">Photomatix<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/timothyarmes.com\/lrenfuse.php\">Enfuse<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first one produces pictures that are quite unimpressive (and rather dark), the last one is rather balanced and tries its best to produce very credible photos of a near perfect homogeneity. The second, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hdrsoft.com\/\">Photomatix<\/a>, outputs images totally out of the ordinary: If you want it to look HDR, this is the right one; but don&#8217;t look for realism if you are not able to use finesse and your best judgement against pushing the limits.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_951\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-951\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/paulobar\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ylovephoto.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/paulobarcello-300x192.jpg\" alt=\"Paulo Barcello&#039;s HDR night city\" title=\"paulobarcello\" width=\"300\" height=\"192\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-951\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-951\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Paulo Barcello's HDR night city<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On the opposite, using the HDR feature of Photoshop is relatively easy and totally free (if you already spent a huge amount on the excellent Adobe software program).<\/p>\n<p>To be noticed: He did not test <a href=\"http:\/\/qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net\/\">qtpfsgui<\/a>, open source and quite famous here; Neither did he try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.supportingcomputers.net\/\">Artizen HDR<\/a> which, for the very acceptable amount of 45.95 Canadian dollars, offers a lot of flexibility and parameterization to master the exact output.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are quite a lot of software programs able to combine several photo images into one HDR (High Dynamix Range) picture.
