Mais il est difficile d&rsquo;\u00eatre compl\u00e8tement certain.<\/p>\n<p>Il aura fallu seulement quelques jours d&rsquo;\u00e9changes sur les forums Internet pour que Canon r\u00e9agisse. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse que vous trouverez en bas de cet article, Canon admet le probl\u00e8me et indique travailler sur le sujet.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est une bonne nouvelle pour plusieurs raisons :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contrairement \u00e0 des cas sur lesquels nous ne reviendrons pas, Canon a r\u00e9agi sainement et rapidement sans nier la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Le Canon EOS 5D MkII n&rsquo;est pas inutilisable, seulement un peu limit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>La solution pourrait appara\u00eetre rapidement sous la forme d&rsquo;un upgrade de firmware.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Il nous reste \u00e0 patienter pour voir la suite (\u00e0 condition d&rsquo;avoir un 5D MkII, bien s\u00fbr).<\/p>\n<p>Nota : la solution d\u00e9crite par Canon ci-dessous :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilisez les formats d&rsquo;enregistrement RAW et JPEG.<\/li>\n<li>Utilisez le mode Fn II-3 ; Priorit\u00e9 hautes lumi\u00e8res (highlight tone) \u00e0 0 ; ne pas utiliser sRAW1.<\/li>\n<li>Le bruit de <em>banding<\/em> vertical n&rsquo;est pas notable en mode sRAW2, mais utilisez le mode Fn II-3 ; Priorit\u00e9 hautes lumi\u00e8res (highlight tone) \u00e0 0 ; ne pas utiliser si vous voulez \u00e9viter le bruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Canon Service Notice<\/h4>\n<p>EOS 5D Mark II Body support<\/p>\n<p>Support &#038; Service<\/p>\n<p>Black dot phenomenon and Vertical banding noise<\/p>\n<p>Posted on: December 17, 2008<\/p>\n<p>To Owners of the EOS 5D Mark II Digital SLR Camera :<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for using Canon products.<\/p>\n<p>We have learned that some users of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR camera have indicated two types of image quality phenomena that appear under certain shooting conditions.<\/p>\n<p>1. \u201cBlack dot\u201d phenomenon (the right side of point light sources becomes black)<br \/>\n2. Vertical banding noise<\/p>\n<p>We are currently investigating ways to improve and\/or mitigate these phenomena. An announcement will be made on the Canon Website when measures to address these phenomena have been decided.<\/p>\n<p>The phenomena are likely to occur under the following shooting conditions.<\/p>\n<p>1. \u201cBlack dot\u201d phenomenon (the right side of point light sources becomes black) When shooting night scenes, the right side of point light sources (such as lights from building windows) may become black. The phenomenon may become visible if the images are enlarged to 100% or above on a monitor or if large prints of the images are made.<br \/>\n2. Vertical banding noise If the recording format is set to sRAW1, vertical banding noise may become visible depending on the camera settings, subject, and background. The following camera settings can reduce the phenomenon.<\/p>\n<p>* Set the recording format to RAW or JPEG.<br \/>\n* Set C.Fn II-3: Highlight tone priority to 0: Disable if the recording format is set to sRAW1.<br \/>\n* The vertical banding noise is not noticeable if the recording format is set to sRAW2, but please set C.Fn II-3: Highlight tone priority to 0: Disable if you are concerned about noise.<\/p>\n<p>Canon always strives to provide the highest quality products to our customers.
