The web site
YLovePhoto.com is an Internet web site of news and information about digital photography. It is part of a network of sites developed by the same person with a definite European point of view of these global technologies.
It is written both in English and in French. Most articles are present in both languages, while some posts are so country- or language-specific that they are not translated.
YLovePhoto.com was created by Yves Roumazeilles, an Internet user who started photo around 14 with a small Kodak pocket camera and black-and-white film. Today, he has moved to digital SLR cameras and this permits him to link his passion for photography and his knowledge of software and computers. Yves Roumazeilles is the author of the vast majority of the articles published on YLovePhoto.com, but the participation of other authors is also warmly welcome.
Most obviously, wild-life photography is a central part of the photo activities here. But many different aspects are taken into account.
YLovePhoto.com is not really a commercial operation, but its financing comes from advertisement present on its pages and from the sale of some related items like photo prints, posters, mugs and calendars. Yves Roumazeilles has a full-time day job in the automotive industry in France (but in a US company) and uses part of his free time to write for the YLovePhoto.com site as well as a few others.
